50 CEO of NextEra Energy, Inc. About James L. Robo Jim Robo is chairman and CEO of NextEra Energy, Inc. (NYSE: NEE), a leading clean energy company. He was named president and CEO in July 2012 and became chairman of the board of directors in December 2013. Mr. Robo is chairman of the company’s rate-regulated electric utility subsidiary, Florida Power & Light Company, as well as chairman and CEO of NextEra Energy Partners, LP (NYSE: NEP), a growth-oriented limited partnership formed by NextEra Energy to acquire, manage, and own contracted clean energy projects.
