Unique World was a successful management consulting business with just under 100 people generating $15M in revenues. Eddie exited in 2011 when he successfully sold it to a US publicly traded company. After having a short break, he became a seed investor in PushStart (an early stage incubator) in early 2012 who had selected 8 up and coming startups through their first program. Tinybeans was one of the 8 startups, Eddie saw something special in Tinybeans so through 2012 began mentoring the Tinybeans team and fell in love with the opportunity so decided to invest and become active. Through 2013, Eddie drove the commercial aspects of the business which enabled him to take on the CEO role in early 2014. At the end of 2014, the opportunity became too large to remain in Australia, so decided to move with the family to NY to build out the company globally. Tinybeans today is a private social network used by over 3.2 Million parents and their families to access the most trusted tools and resources on the planet to help their family thrive. Tinybeans generates revenues from brands using the platform for advertising and insights, while consumers pay for premium subscriptions and printed products. ABOUT TINYBEANS The Company is a Sydney and New York-based, social media platform focused on enabling families and friends to connect and share moments with each other.
