ABOUT RICHARD GONZALEZ Rick Gonzalez is Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of AbbVie, a global biopharmaceutical company employing approximately ~30,000 people and marketing medicines in more than 175 countries. Prior to AbbVie’s separation from Abbott, Mr. Gonzalez was a 30-year Abbott veteran. He served as Executive Vice President, Pharmaceutical Products Group, where he led the global pharmaceutical business, including commercial operations, research and development and manufacturing.
